What's more fun than watching a parade? Walking in one! And now you can do it with your dog, your kids, or by yourself.
TakomaDogs needs people to come out in force on the morning of July 4 to walk in the parade. Even if you don't have a dog, we need people to carry the banner, help push the awesome float that Board Member Barbara Muhlbacher is building, or just smile and wave.
We'll be meeting at the south entrance to Manor Circle near 203 South Manor Circle (map here) at about 9:30 a.m. In prior years we've got an early place in the parade so that the dogs avoid the hottest part of the day. Bring your kids, your dogs, and some water for the dogs. Or just bring yourself. All are welcome!
Don't forget to wear your Support-the-Dog-Park t-shirt. If you don't have one, you can order one here. This year's parade walk is being organized by TakomaDogs board member Stacy Gilbert, so if you have any questions, please contact her.
